That Era of music is quite interesting. Many black singers and song writers had their songs stolen without any payment or future royalties. Elvis stole quite a few which I had not realized until a few months ago.

That's odd. The guy is still holding on to that. I wonder what he did after his musical career peaked. Did he sell carpet remnants in Toledo for 20 years or something? I bet he did.
