RR is priced based on distance, but the cost doesn't actually vary that much - I believe the possible range from PA destinations is $4-7 per trip so not as extreme as other cities. There are also monthly commuter passes available.

Almost any transit mode will get you to Penn... all regional Rail lines touch 30th where you can connect to bus/trolley/LUCY to wherever you are going. If you are concerned about "safety" I assume you mean you want to avoid the El, so look for regional Rail, trolleys, or buses.

Maybe they were too tall/short? The city installed some on Limekiln recently that are so tall that some regular cars don't have sufficient ground clearance for them, people have been trying to get them removed for months now.

Make sure your antenna is as close to perpendicular to the Channel 6 broadcast antenna as possible - there's a free app by RCA that helps you line it up. I had my antenna on a window and couldn't get it, then moved it to an internal wall instead (that's facing the broadcast station) and get it crystal clear. Direction is the most important thing for lo-V.

What's the point of this? Seems like it mostly serves to reduce the candidate pool and assist incumbents (when there is one). Speaking generally, this also means we'll lose 4-5 good city council people, just to elect 1 mayor.

There are two types of mail voting - Absentee Ballots and Mail Voting. Anybody can do Mail Voting, but you can only do Absentee if you will be "absent". It's dumb.

Their business hours are like 6a-2:30pm or something stupid like that, make sure to call in the morning. I've never had trouble getting through to a human inside that window though.
