I hadn't heard of these places before, but Milk Bar was a dessert bakery? That seems to be a weird choice of name. I'd have expected milk products like a dairy bar.
Also, Milk Bar & Pizza sounds like a terrible time for someone with lactose intolerance.

The worst part of the Boston area is the cold air but no snow. Dealing with the cold isn't worth it if there's no snow.

If it's one post and they're actually engaging with the community and not just dropping the ad and leaving, then I might be okay with it. Even if they're not offering free slices.
The ones that bug me things like the constant ads for comedy events, where they blindly blast it across multiple subreddits, and continue to do so even when they don't get any engagement.
Reddit has pretty good guidelines here: https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043504051-What-constitutes-spam-Am-I-a-spammer-
And while it's no longer updated, the self-promotion guidelines are really good: https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion

No self-promotion for commercial events, even if it's free. I think self-promotion is fine if it's something like city government or philanthropic events.

Not necessarily gutted, but at least has something like big holes in the floor that a firefighter might fall through while searching for occupants in the smoke.

I think you'll have the best luck by following venues and artists on social media like Instagram. They'll usually promote their upcoming stuff that way.

Unfortunately for that, the main railway that used to run all the way to Provincetown, the Old Colony Railway, was torn up part Hyannis decades ago, and a lot of the rail bed has been turned into bike path or just paved over and turned into streets. Heck, the branch that used to run to Chatham is now crossed by the airport runway.

Yeah, that ice storm pissed off enough people to light up their representatives and utilities to actually do a lot of tree trimming. I'm guessing it's been long enough since then that they've slacked off again.

Ground it. Route through traffic via 128. Passengers going into Boston should use the T, which should be overhauled. And before anyone says "but muh work truck" I didn't say eliminate it. You can still drive in if you have a bunch of stuff. Same for shipping. Most car traffic is just passengers.

Also, there's the problem of asteroids not emitting anything, making them very hard to see against empty space. They have to reflect something else to be visible to us.
