Damn it really is, the drop off might have been a little slower for GoT. Just made seasons 7 & 8 that much worse.

Seasons 1-4 are great, 5-6 are still good but the show clearly peaked already, 7 has it's moments and 8 is a dumpster fire. You should watch it all the way through at least once for completion, but after that stick with reruns from the first 5-6 seasons.

Disney ruined Star Wars as soon as they nixed the expanded universe canon and created their own version for episodes VII, VIII and IX. They should have used the Thrawn trilogy as the basis for it.

They also have to spend millions of dollars sorting and disposing of the tons of trash that people donate. They could charge less on what they do resell if people didn't use them as a dumpster.
