I don't think it's true, at least not on my xperia phone. You can lock the codec in the developer settings to force a certain one, and I've tried aac before without issues.

Last I checked Sony didn't support aptx, at the very least they are pushing their own codec.

I've had headphones for 10 years that don't look like that. Almost all from Sony, but I had a razer gaming headset that I used for teleconferences for like 6-8 hours per day 5-6 days per week for two years without any noticable degredation, too.

There are some headphones (like the nurophones, for example) which use silicon instead of leather or fabric.

Finally, there are pad covers which you can buy to keep the actual pads from getting sm sweaty or dirty.

Similar to that one. It's already significantly wider than my field of view if I sit close enough to use it for email or whatever!

I have a monitor that is about that size and shape! (From Phillips) I don't use it anymore because I switched to a smaller OLED one

Also.. I went to a business trip to the US like 5 years ago and watched a movie in the hotel I started at...... Strangest movie I've ever seen, wish I knew what it was called.
