When I had my waist-length mane, I experienced my first ConAir failure at the stylist: “Dude, what’s that smell?”
(Blue flames leaping out of the vent, he drops it on the floor.)
Two home ConAir dryers also went out in a blaze of glory. I like their airflow better than the Sunbeam that replaced them, but three strikes was enough.

We have several La Cross wall clocks. They are not BiFL.
They lose touch with remote sensors, and two wander aimlessly when it comes to self-setting the time. Correct it, later that day it chooses a time of its liking.
We also have the older Radio Shack version of the LaCross. It keeps on ticking.

I always preferred the Model F, but they don’t always work well with adapters, the delete key gets confused.
Logitech tends to make good commodity product designs that feel pretty good, but longevity, not always.
If you like it, buy a spare. Or two.

I just replaced the ear cups on my QC25s. Used the $6 knockoff kit, good for another three years.

Indeed, I ask that of them.
They don’t do real yard cleanup, yet are all too happy to impose their narrow and ignorant views on those who do.

A vacuum is going to (ahem) suck a lot more power than any power tool, because physics.
That doesn’t stop our ignorant local environmental crybabies from insisting electric garden vacuums exist and function effectively.

It’s Greta Thunberg, Molly Ringwald and Sara Gilbert fighting the power … as one.
(No, I didn’t have a Tab today. Or a Fresca. But I found the blob haunting.)
