Oh I'm aware I'm in my mid 40s. I was a big fan of FoW since the beginning. Also I thought "Sink To The Bottom" was just as big, if not bigger, than "Radiation Vibe".
Edit: I looked it up. You were right, radiation vibe went to number 32 and sink to the bottom went to number 42.

Spin Doctors. They technically had two hits, but I digress. Spin Doctors were a fucking jam.

Stacy's Mom is literally their worst song.

The Decemberists made a sharp turn from their quirky folky story-driven music and did a song called "Once In My Life" that for 95% of the song tries to use only two lines: "For once in my life, can just something go right? I've been waiting all my life."
Their goal was to build an entire song using just those lines and use different music and vocal arrangements around it to make a complete song. I think it works really well, personally, but it's not for everyone.
Anyways, at the very end of the song he throws in the lines "Lay us down, Beside the river, Face down, Beside the river" which is the same line, sung basically the same way, as in the end of Yo La Tengo's "Barnaby Hardly Working"
Edit: reading through other comments I realize I didn't understand the assignment lol, I'll leave this up even though this wasn't what you were asking for.

I have kids, but I'm far off from having grandkids. But I know how life works, and if I make it to old age, I assume I'll have grandkids. Humans are, mostly, following the same playbook, so it makes sense to me to project my life out a ways and plan ahead.

My wife and I are operating under the assumption we will live to 100. We probably won't, but we are going to prepare as if we will. Our goals are to live a comfortable, fulfilling life the whole way, including now. Anything unused at the end will go to the kids or grandkids, which is fine with us.

I don't know why exactly, but Manchester Orchestra's "No Hard Feelings" is cathartic for me regarding loss.

Cool, their EP is surprisingly good for a virtually unknown new band. I'd be interested to know if they make a regular rotation in your listens in the future.
