I would travel to such a time when human IQ has decreased sufficiently that they would be easily led by someone like me.

I'm a gay male but I've donated sperm numerous times to various lesbain couples.

Great Britain and the USA are two nations divided by a language and no term illustrates this better than "fanny-pack".

Apparently Maurice was so delighted at the opportunity to reenact the infamous "frozen peas" bit that there were tears in his eyes.

2000 miles is one of my favourite Christmas songs. I find it quite sentimental and moving. Sadly when I recommend it to people they usually think I'm referring to that song by The Proclaimers.

Growing up post-Schengen I sometimes forget that borders within Europe used to be strictly enforced until fairly recently.

Yes I must agree that the wiki could have been more clearly written although it lists among its sources some well-written scholarly works. I first heard about this particular episode in our history from the masterful BBC Radio documentary "This Sceptered Isle."

I used to love the Crystal Maze as a kid. Richard O'brien is the only host as far as I'm concerned. I tried watching the Ayoade reboot and while he was a reasonably entertaining host it just wasn't the same. I think perhaps the Internet and the intervening years have reduced my capacity for being entertained by game shows.
