You’re right. Next time I will refer to the EP website before I head out and might drive 1/4 passed a school zone traveling at the lightning speed of 33mph… at 4pm. Thanks for your help, Karen?

35 mph at 3:57 pm…. With no school in sight….no real Tickets in 20 years…You clearly are an absolute savage with no regard for the safety of others...
It’s a money grab… They take a concept that at face value makes sense… don’t speed in a school zone…and then bend the crap out of it to make more $.

Apparently the entire town of east providence is a school zone and school is in session 24 hours a day.
Agreed… it’s obvious not to speed in school zone during school hours but this feels MUCH more extreme imo.

Bought a place in East Providence/Rumford a few years ago and like it a lot. Bit more bang for your buck then the East Side of Providence but still an easy commute to downtown or Rhode Island Hospital. There are some nice/ relatively affordable new rental options on College Hill/Wickenden that would be very close to the hospital as well.

If you’re doing chips and margaritas… definitely Tortilla flats on the east side. Great chips… even greater margs with good variety, chill atmosphere and good service. El Mariachi in EP is fun too. But I’d give tortilla slight edge on the vibe.
