Reply to Vehicle Tint question by Vivid_Belt
Plenty of window tint shops do ok by removing tint prior to inspection sticker time and then reinstalling it right after.

Reply to I am interested in learning how to play the organ. Where in Rhode Island can I take lessons to learn how to play this musical instrument? by PinkSwallowLove
The musical instrument commonly known as an organ is essentially a piano with additional bells and whistles. Perhaps you can find a piano teacher with relative eaae.

In that case, the landlord should have no problem throwing that notice out the window. Good luck.

Half of Providence's population is Latin American but most night spots are lounges and hookah bars, where little dancing takes place. The Latin dance clubs are fun and predominantly Dominican, so it's mostly reggaeton, bachata, and merengue playing there. A little salsa, but not much. There are a handful of salsa dance groups that hold events and lessons here. There's also a group called Providence Tango, located in nearby Pawtucket, that holds regular events and lessons. And a place in Somerville, MA (about an hour away) called Boston Tango that is very popular and hosts fun milongas. The Boston metro area is teeming with Brazilians, so you should have no trouble finding great options for that scene.

Reply to planning a trip in November for a friends 30th birthday, so far we have the zoo, the botanical, the museum. What else should we do or see? we have roughly 10 days and coming out of Pennsylvania if that helps any. by Usual_Dot6883
If all you have planned are three attractions inside a single park, you dont have anything planned.

Reply to Notice to Quit from landlord... by geogrokat
The Notice to Quit is not the eviction order. That requires going to court first. You need to have a heart to heart on Monday with your landlord if you want to stay in that apartment.
Now, your roommate "forgot" to pay their rent long enough for the landlord to prepare a letter and mail or deliver it to you? No one forgets to keep a roof over their head. You might want to start hanging around with better people.
It's often the case that a landlord is just itching for any excuse to toss out a tenant so they can rent the apartment at a much higher rate, considering the current market.
Good luck!

Weekdays, the mbta has a late night train. Alternatively, a non-surge uber ride to Providence will cost you around $75 at that hour.

Reply to Jury Duty…has anyone really experienced consequences for not showing up? by [deleted]
Depends on how overworked the courts are. They usually are too busy to prosecute or chase a person for being a no-show. On principle, however, it's a civic duty that should be taken seriously.
