I’ll politely point out that “science” keeps searching and testing for answers. We know the story is incomplete, and a lot of smart people are trying to find out more of the story.

J Michael Straczynski. He's niche, comics and sci-fi, but I'd argue that Babylon 5 is one of the great achievements of 90s TV.

From the UK, John Sullivan, who wrote Only Fools and Horses, Linehan, Horowitz keeps churning people pleasing tv, year after year. Is it highest quality? Maybe not. But the consistency is impressive.

The only it helped me was that doing my degree was easier because in the days before computers it was “read books, do exams”.

Easy as. My reading speed is decent, so I can assimilate information.

But intellectually curious people gravitate to reading, not the other way round, I think, at least for my generation.
