That address is the Postall in the Bellevue Gardens shopping center. The "suite" number is their post office box number there. A lot of people do this to have a Bellevue Ave address. Where did you interview with them? Did you ask how long they've been in business? A LOT of service and trade businesses in Newport operate on just word of mouth, so it's not necessarily sketchy if they aren't marketing online or getting Yelp reviews.

Two things: Stay away from RAC, like many have already said. And, find the job first and let them know you'll get the equipment they require before you start. Some companies will provide a laptop, others might only require a chromebook with a good internet connection. You can get a new chromebook for $100. Best of luck to you!!

The problem they've fallen victim to is that RI (and the northeast, in general) had an affordable housing crisis. That's not going to change anytime soon. Logically, relocating to some place with a lower cost of living and no housing crisis, would benefit them. Jackson, Michigan, as an example. You can literally buy a whole house for under $100k, and it's a city of 30k+ people, with job opportunities and support services like food pantries, head start, housing programs, etc. My point is, it's very expensive to live in RI under the best of circumstances, and these people shouldn't have to struggle like they are. There are better opportunities for them.

Yes, it's cheaper, and I used western Mass as an example. There are many places more affordable than here. It's very expensive to be poor in Rhode Island. I understand the fear of leaving the small safety net they seem to have, but in the big picture if they can establish stability somewhere else, they won't be as reliant on others for help. They've spent a staggering amount of money on hotels in just six months and could literally buy a house or mobile home in some places with the same amount. The Mom has a remote job waiting for her, with insurance, so they have that as an advantage. Is there a Go Fundme or any opportunity to offer help to them?

Absolutely open, and you'll get great service and lots of attention most likely. The weather might actually be nice, but either way, it's after St. Patrick's Day so everything will be open and you'll have a great time!

Cooper's Cask Coffee is the best coffee I've ever tasted - hands down! Their roastery is in East Greenwich, and the beans are ethically sourced and aged in whiskey and bourbon barrels (most of those are locally sourced too, from Sons of Liberty Whiskey in South Kingstown). I think they have gift sets too, so you can try each of the blends.

Newport Marriott is a good getaway, with a nice pool. Had my son's bday party there a couple of times and they were awesome about letting us order in pizzas, cake, and ice cream. And if you tell them your situation, I bet they'll take good care of you. Best wishes and Happy birthday to your daughter 😊
