Moved here from Michigan which is similar in that regard. Was kind of worried but I love it here. Coastlines, forests, hills, and everything is really nice here lol. Love all the seasons as well! Beautiful state and love how active most people are.

Ah see I’m from the Midwest and it’s our culture to prefer driving. Maybe it’s cause Michigan was huge but two hours isn’t bad to me. We used to get up super early to go to cedar point in Ohio every summer and drive back the same night.

Love Plymouth and Salem but I would be the weirdo to choose somewhere in western mass. Haven’t explored enough there to pick a town but that’s where I hope to end up someday.

Lmao, I love western mass. Planning on Moving out there from the cape (bleh). I love going out there. Less traffic, more peaceful. Maybe it’s cause I’m from the Midwest but a few hour drive to get to Boston really isn’t bad to me. Plus proximity to other states. It’s super pretty as well!

Are they loaded with ‘bloated’ salaries because there are so many colleges here we have competitive wages? Massachusetts is one of the most educated states and has a great education system. It is more expensive to live here and $150,000 for a job you need to have education and experience for doesn’t seem excessive.

Yeah. Been back and forth on three but I think I finally fully understand it and it’s a big no from me. Not a fan of monopolies and not a fan of the no self checkout for alcohol either. Would rather wait for a better question.

Was nervous moving to Massachusetts from Michigan. Have been pleasantly surprised by the seasons here. The Michigan trees are always gonna be my number 1 but it is a special kind of pretty up here.

Multiple states have changed their flags or are in discussion. Mississippi’s flag is new and way better IMO. Georgia has also had like 4 flags. Why does it really matter if 50 flags change? If we add new states do you not expect the American Flag to change or at least be updated somehow?
