It's probably worth pointing out that there is no direct route to the movie theater.
No matter where you park, you will have to walk through the food court (the most obnoxious part of the mall) and take the escalator up. Sorry.

Years ago, I used to always park up at the top (Floor 3, Macy's side), so I didn't have to deal with mall people. But now floor 3 is almost always full.
You can cheat and just park at floor 2.5, but you still have to deal with driving round and round in that labyrinth of a parking garage (which keeps changing every few years).
Now I just park somewhere around P3 or Floor 1 (whichever will get me closest to the door), and then I'll just take the stairs right by the entrance doors all the way up. I find it the best way to avoid dealing with mall traffic. And afterwards, you avoid waiting in a long line to get out of the garage.

It wasn't employment. It was a nursing program. I was a secretary, and it was the hospital's policy not mine.
Edit: Also, we very intentionally gave candidates a heads up so they could take action before the drug test.

Haha, there sure is! Thanks for mentioning it.
You can get Sweater Comedy tickets on eventbrite. And 20% off with promo code: TURTLENECK.
I'd say it counts as "DIY Underground" considering I drew each individual poster myself, designed the logo myself and put stickers up all over the city, I am performing myself (along with other Providence comedians), and I will be baking the cookies myself this weekend (yeah, fresh-baked cookies free to all who attend).

I worked for an organization that drug tested, and we would tell candidates right in the interview that yes, we do test for marijuana, because we are federally funded and it is still federally illegal.

Oh, boy. Haven't fully decided yet, but we're thinking shortbread cookies, ginger snaps and apple cider cookies. They may or may not be sweater-shaped.

Sweater-themed cocktails (alcoholic and nonalcoholic), fresh-baked cookies and some of the funniest comics in New England. Gonna be a fun, cozy night.

District Hall is another space. You can reserve private space or use the open space for free.
There's also another District Hall in Seaport District in Boston if that's valuable to you.

Scialo's is great for many pastries (I go there maybe once a week for hermits), but I'm not sure I'd rank their Boston cream pie among the best.
I would go with, as others have suggested, either Gregg's (it's enormous and you don't even have to pre-order) or Wright's Dairy Farm.
I haven't been to Wright's Providence satellite shop, but you can always call and ask. If you do end up having to go to North Smithfield, you won't regret it. There's so much good food there you'll gain weight just by looking at it.

Nice. I might investigate this with older bakers at LaSalle or Scialo's. See if they can confirm.

I'd love some sort of source for this!
I've been eating pizza strips since I was kid, and I've never heard this before. Sounds like a really interesting origin story, and I'd love to bore my friends with this fun fact if it's true.
