That's the thing. Whether my generator is running one light bulb or the whole house it's using the same amount of gas and making the same amount of noise.

I lose power a lot. 4 times in the last month.
I heat with wood no matter what. I've got a 6500 watt generator that can be powering 95% of the house in a couple minutes with a few breaker flips.
As long as I can get gas every 3 days or so I'm good.

The difference between being able to power your entire house vs running individual extension cords to things in a house is minimal at best.
A 5000 watt generator will power 90% of an average house.

I'm at a more manageable 74 with the stove going. Winter is just starting and it seems terrible to feed it that much to get it to 80.

Well, you're half way between Rockland and Augusta so maybe check in one of those towns.

You mean see an inch or two for a couple days or actual snow pack?
Also very dependent on what part of the state you're in.

I have some friends that have a family camp across from Mic Mac and the pic kind of looked like that cove.
Mic Mac is kind of dumpy honestly. Lots of good drinking parties there though.

As a truck driver the middle lane campers piss me off to no end. Half the time it's other trucks.

I had a work truck (Peterbilt 10 wheeled box truck) have the mirror get completely cleaned off on the ME/NH bridge by a giant piece of ice and snow.
