When you live in florida, you'll understand why those taxes in Vermont are valuable. Especially if you have kids and put them in a Florida school. The only places that have some decent schools are those that have high local taxes to make up for the lack of money coming from the state

Exactly. Because "inefficiency" in any device is just energy that got converted to heat, which is what you want anyways in this case. I don't worry much about leaving my indoor lights on in winter for much the same reason, though some of that energy does escape out the window as light.

It's not such a bad thing to try to keep local food production alive. Just because it is struggling doesn't mean that it should be abandoned.

The folks in the Massachusetts sub, or in Massachusetts in general, have a habit of telling everyone else how to think.

Can confirm. Now own overpriced small house, even though we took on some of the work ourselves. Still not quite finished.

Thankfully, I don't match the rest of him. Although I'd like that shirt.

Well, regardless of any controversies regarding accuracy, I think it is a pretty awesome image. What AI tool did you use to achieve this? Did you have to post-edit too?

And don't forget traffic. Except for Burlington and Stowe (when it actually snows), there is little to no traffic.

Amateur tip: Shop elsewhere. I used to shop at Costco all the time, but discovered that it was less expensive to just buy smaller quantities elsewhere, especially Aldi, and have less waste. Plus I am not tempted to buy stuff I don't need, like a new 24 pack of giant muffins ✅, a new kitchen appliance ✅, or a cedar playground for the kids ✅.
That said, I miss going. Twas always fun (my local store back then wasn't too crowded).

Hallelujah. We definitely don't.
I still remember liking little Ceasars 25 years ago, but I have spent the past 20 years trying to remember why.
Edited to add: with that said, there is a need for lower cost options, but there has to be a better way to get there.
