PSA: If you don't "know a guy" and you can't get to Westerly to go to Ritacco's Market or Westerly Packing, there are a couple places that will ship soupy. Dippers (https://www.supri.com) or Fortuna's (https://fortunasausage.com/cured-salami-meats/soupy-fortunas-signature-salami/) ... Fortuna's is formerly of Westerly and occasionally I find their product at Stop & Shop on Quaker Lane in Warwick.

Having had to look into trash haulers for a condo complex, I'm not sure any of them would change the way they do things just to not pay the fines... they'd probably gripe about it and raise prices together in solidarity. And get their union to sue the state about being treated unfairly.

I feel like MOST of the Republicans in this state are moderate fiscal conservatives who want to see the Dems stop giving taxpayer money to everything they possibly can. I would never vote Republican at the federal level because of the absurd impact they have on things that should not be their business. (Women's bodies, gay rights, etc.) But the democratic machine in this state has given away everything to everyone. People move here to take advantage of it.
