There is one on Quincy St in Arlington not far from the Virginia Square stop. I am not sure it is open to the public since its owned by Arlington Public Schools.

There are a couple scenarios where I would be happy to move back to NC (went to college down there). I cannot imagine ever moving to SC though, that state government is crazy and will never change.

I forgot the formula while reading your post (since the FMV for a new vehicle is set) since at the time I was mostly focused on the weight and MPG of the vehicle we are going with.

I think your avenue is to try and discuss the FMV with a supervisor as that is possibly negotiable, the weight/mpg is likely written in stone. Maybe reach out to your council person?

I thought the excise tax was based based on the vehicles weight/MPG which could be why yours is so expensive. Am I thinking of something else?

Daylight Savings Time is stupid, they should just stay on Standard Time all year.

Yeah, they tried permanent DST in the 70's and it sucked so much that they got rid of it after a couple years because people were dying. This is stupid griping, standard time for life!
