No. Same probably unless Apple gave them special treatment.

The iMessage integration for Intel Unison is not great. For one it's not 100% reliable. Secondly, it doesn't work with group chats. Whenever, you get a message in the group chat, it just shows up as if it's a 1 on 1 conversation.

I tried it. It's not super reliable. That was my experience. There is no support for group iMessage conversations. When someone in the group iMessages, on the computer it appears as a message from that specific person. Unless there is some setting that I missed.

But notifications were very johnny on the spot. I actually had to turn them off. On the phone they seem ok because I set them up to be silent, but on the desktop it was just too much.

Maybe the it’s trying to insinuate the replacement of the human workforce by robots? Just a wild guess.
