Hold up. What is that orange one in the 2nd graph for Mississippi? As as native Mississippian, I'm highly skeptical of this data. What is Krunchy? Am I even reading that correctly?
UPDATE:
Ahhha! I figured it out. Krispy Krunchy is not a restaurant. It's chicken sold at gas stations. Here's an example location.
If you go to the main Krispy Krunchy website and look for locations, you'll see it's all gas stations.

It's probably because families realized the mortality of the father and wanted to keep the family name going.
