Fed Hill has a lot of cool spots, I'm in my thirties and go out there all the time. I wouldn't write it off so quickly.

If I waited for a mid sized group to go out with, I'd rarely end up going out haha. If you like music, I recommend hitting up open mics and karaoke bars. They're very social environments and it's easy to chat with strangers there compared to a standard bar.
Sports is another one that can be a social environment, typically in a bar setting again. And you're already doing Volo which is another good sports social activity. I'm not sure about video games, but No Land Beyond can be great for joining a group to play with at their Thursday events (https://www.nolandbaltimore.com/events). I think they actually have a biweekly Smash Bros Melee tournament that meets again this Thursday too.
I'm working on my social skills still tbh. I'm confident enough to go out alone, sometimes I meet people and end up exchanging numbers and seeing them again. Other times I don't really chat with anyone.

Violetville should be rated higher, it's a great neighborhood. The only thing we're missing are more walkable restaurants, stores, etc. I'm surprised Morrell Park is rated higher.

What kinds of things do you like to do? I go out by myself all the time and make new friends when I'm out. Now when I walk into a regular place I like to go, I often see someone I've met before.

I like my yellow neighborhood. There are times I'd prefer some of the green places, but most of them are too expensive for me.

I like how the best thing you can say about Sandtown-Winchester is there is some nice architecture
No one seems to really care about those communities, I wonder what the reaction would be if the new tunnel went under Hampden instead

I thought the more illegible a music poster is, the "cooler" it's supposed to be. I see them all the time and have trouble deciphering what's going on. Just look at any of the posters hung on the streets in Hampden or at Ottobar

Becoming a desirable neighborhood? When was it not?
I can't afford a house in Hampden (along with the other desirable neighborhoods). And there's little reason to cram more housing there when so much of the city is full of vacant properties with space for new housing and even parking.
Yes we need more public transport so I don't have to drive to Hampden every time, but what we really need is to expand outside the white L and make all of our communities more livable and desirable. I'm tired of watching the wealthy white people bicker over parking spaces.
