Honestly. I've had this conversation before and was told I'm being weird for talking to it like it's a person. It's designed to seem more human to be easier to talk to so it makes sense that we'll treat it like it's human. IMO it's the same sense that people get when they get attached to a roomba and name it. Like yes logically it's just an ai tracking movement of a vacuum but illogical human brain treats it like its a companion. It has been coded so ot feels like companionship and taps into the sensitive side of our brains.
