Maybe I shouldn’t have used the word combo. I’m looking for advice on a washer/dryer set, as in separate machines, not conjoined ones or one of those weird all in one washer/dryers. My wife saw how pretty the LG “stacked” single panel washer/dryer combos looked and I just said “what if the dryer kicks the bucket?”

It seems to be a bit of a gamble. I’m glad you seem to have been lucky. I’m prepared to buy once cry once type of deal.

That’s why I’m asking. Maybe I’m confusing Maytag and Speed Queen thinking Speed Queen was now made by whirlpool, but I think that may be Maytag.

Well I’m already expecting to spend around $2-$3k on a set so I think I’m within the ballpark.

I’ve heard the older speed queens if you can find them are great, but the new ones are iffy?
Edit: Am I getting that confused with new residential maytags?

Yea I went with a GE set from Costco so I could use the citi additional 2 year warranty.
