They came out once for me. Told me the garage needed a new roof. I told them no it did not. Never heard anything else. Was just an exterior inspection.

You’re stopping at like the first line.
6 acres in production for vegetables.
Some animals separate from that.
And perennial plants. Doesn’t say how many acres for that.
The farm prolly makes more off perennials.

Southern cross… stars and bars was their first flag and long forgotten.

Stars and bars was their first flag and was flown in battle at the start. Not just a couple boats.
It was found to be too close to Union flags, which birthed the southern cross battle flag everyone recognizes today.

You mean the southern cross? Stars and bars was the official confederate flag that most people people prolly wouldn’t know.

There’s already plenty jobs around… hence Maine already has a shortage of workers… doesn’t mean wages are worth what they’re offering though… Maine isn’t a cheap state to live in, already has a shortage of workers, but somehow has low pay.

I still keep reading young people are leaving Maine. So not sure how now they’re actively moving here instead now.
Even from a personal standpoint growing up in a family with 4 kids as of last year I’m officially the last one here, with plans to eventually leave. The ratio of cost of living to earnings here I don’t see getting better.

CMP and parent consistently ranked worst of their class regularly.
Isn’t too hard to do better by the sounds of it. Maybe the state will actually trim trees.

It’s not like the state can just take the grid… they have to buy it..
Grid should be state owned anyhow. Not to be profiteered from. CMP extracts something like $140 million plus yearly from maine for foreign owners.

Iirc if the trees dead and known to be dead they have liability. If it’s alive it’s Mother Nature.
Either way call your insurance.

Nah. Vote for the state to take over distribution. Shouldn’t be private.

You have the bin you have based on what they’re charging for in the property taxes for trash removal. You have the option for a larger one at a cost… or they’re betting most people don’t mind recycling and saving a buck on trash. If they’re gonna give everyone the bigger containers then everyone’s property taxes need to go up.
