Ya, I am now thinking a live audience might be too much!

I think the heist was shown as a flashback.

Do you think it's a laugh track? Or a live studio audience? A live crowd would go nuts when Kutcher walks in, for example.

Honestly, what's enjoyable is the callbacks to the old show. You probably don't need to know anything, it's probably just pretty flat.

Interesting. I only started watching more recently, after meeting my current partner. What was the original premise that they've gone away from?
The most recent one I saw was about Beverly not being ready to date yet. Seemed appropriate to me. (My husband died young a few years ago)
I find it ridiculous that all of the kids still live in the house, especially the oldest one who then shares a bedroom!
But other than that, it's fine. Nothing great, but fine.

Hall played JFK in The Crown. A small part. I agree his choice to pick roles.

I see that, but it is a different character.
And at least he has more than a reason that he needs to protect his son, vs Walter White who may well have had the same results with in network cancer treatment.

I think it's FINE to just watch the second season! I have not finished season 2, but I can only think of one scene with the recurring character that really has anything to do with the first season, but it will just come and go , probably without you even noticing.
