My grandmother would only drink their Half n Half. Can't tell you how many times I walked from Archmere past Brookpark Rd to the Lawson's in Parma. All weather, all times. I was 12-13 years old.

Reply to TIL that the Fritos Company began when Charles Doolin bought a corn chip recipe, ricer, and 19 retail accounts from a corn chip maker for $100, which Doolin borrowed from his mother. His mother's kitchen was the first office of the Frito Company, which had a capacity of 10 lb of chips daily. by jdward01
If you are interested in origin stories the Discovery channel has a series called The Food That Built America. They did Fritos as well as Wrigleys Gum and many others. I watch them just to see the historical clothes and sets.
