Reply to Inspection and tint law by Winter_Wind7498
I had the same situation. I removed my own tint with warm soapy water and a razor blade scraper which took about 15 per window, including clean up. I was quoted $35 a window to remove the tint.
For and SUV, you will have to remove the two front window tints get it inspected and then reinstall the tint then remove it again for the next inspection.
Unfortunately, that’s the easiest way.

Red flags based their writing style?! That’s such a weird conclusion to come to since this post was well written and provided all the details needed to understand the situation. I mean, this person is flustered and still used correct grammar unlike you who didn’t even bother to capitalize your “i”.

There are other benefits to tint besides vanity, like keeping the car interior cool and to prevent reflections entering the vehicle. Yes, there are people that take advantage of the tint and black their windows out but there are people who genuinely just want to have legal tint but these laws are too strict.
Just like anything people will take advantage of any situation and it screws over the others, which is unfortunate.

This is heartbreaking. No family should have to be put in these situations.
Do we know what kind of assistance programs they have applied for or used? Have they been provided with housing resources?

Reply to Would you buy a house in RI right now? Why or why not? by TransitionSea9480
I would like to but the houses are getting bought really cheap and getting flipped with shit box store materials and resold for 1.5 times the original price or they don’t even get fixed up and just get put back on the market 91 days later. I’m so sick of it.
Yes, I know it’s “the game” but wtf. The prices are getting out of hand and the average person can barely afford these houses and have decent DTI ratios.
