But you wouldn't even go out for either of these jobs because they both have weekend requirements. OT and weekend/holiday pay shows that THEY also value your free time - they're offering to pay a premium for you.

We have a wood stove and that was first run on 10/1. You are not crazy for thinking 55 inside is cold. It is. If it's below 65 in my house I consider firing up the stove. We're going to see how long we go before turning on the head (oil burner) but coat and hat inside is where I draw the line.

There are plenty of more cost efficient venues around - what are they looking for in a venue? Sealres is like TOTALLY a different expected experience than the VFW.
Additionally, what time of year are they looking at? If they're willing to move to off peak they could save some money.
5 years ago now, but Westford Regency (MA) was very cost efficient for a January wedding with an on-site ceremony, 5 course dinner, bar package and late night snacks. (DM me).
