Turn your sink on and pour the water on the nozzle for about 1.5 sec, though make sure that the water doesn't have enough pressure which could displace the mesh filter. Wait for around 3 days for the IEMs to dry.

If you feel a weird ear pressure while wearing the IEMs, often resulting in a weird or imbalanced sound, then you must simply wait until it disappears. You might not experience this if you wait for more than 3 days, but I'm not sure as I only waited 3 days for each IEM.

Once the pressure is completely gone, the IEMs should sound as new. This method was successful after trying it with the cca cra, moondrop chu and 7hz zero which all had channel imbalance on the right side, especially the chu with its infamous qc.

Did it 2 months ago and still no imbalance until now. I also read a few post claiming that their IEMs survived in the washer, and I can see why.

I've had and tested the wf-xm4's and 7hz zeros/moondrop chus for a while now and they are quite similar in technicalities, though I was able to find more details I never heard before with these IEMs, but that's probably because they have better tuning, the xm4's have recessed treble that you can't fully fix with EQ. And I forgot to mention they are both only $20.

I don't have the arias but they should definitely be better in a technical aspect than the xm4's as they are literally the next tier upgrade from the $20-50 IEM range, atleast in technicalities. Your arias may have a bad seal in your ears which could definitely affect the sound and your judgement...

Takes a lot of knowledge to use. You can use other people's EQ settings such as oratory's or crinacle's, but they will not always meet your exact preferences.
