Sounds like something you'd hear said about the Rockwell Retro Encabulator.

Anyone remember SourceForts? I believe it started as a HL2:DM mod, where you'd go to a platform and press a button to spawn a piece of geometry. Then you'd grab the piece and use it to build a base to protect your flag, and when the timer ran out it was game on.

Can we get some uplifting stories that are organic? This sub is so dark "some people did something great for this person, who got totally screwed by some system or other person". I might as well watch the news.

I like the Piano (or I guess any instrument) for this. I know exactly where the keys are for whatever song I'm paying, but it's all subconscious. If I look and actively try to see where the next key is, I can't play. But blind, my fingers just know, after years of doing the same motions.

Amazing work, reminds me of the old Gif with the electrical towers jumping rope.

I just did a bit of looking, it seems the dumb screens are mostly for commercial applications and the prices are sky high. Guess we're stuck with Smart screens for now.

We use Disney + constantly, and the smart tv apps are all unbearably slow, so I use the PS5. It's overkill for sure, but when I push a button the screen responds instead of waiting 10 seconds or so.
Really wish I could just buy a screen, I have so much crap plugged in that the "Smart" functions are a waste.
