I had this happen to me! I took my iPhone 8 Plus in for a battery replacement and when I went to pick it up they said they replaced the Taptic Engine because it stopped working. It still wasn’t working, so I went back next day and they replaced my phone with a brand new iPhone SE 2022. Even got a 20W charger for free to offset the cost of the battery

That happens to me too! Seemingly random but if it turns like that it’s like that system wide! Usually it’s after using dictation
