Get it to drinking temp before you put it in. Then the efficiency is working for you. I make my coffee strong and put one ice cube in it. I have it down to a science where the icecube is a very specific size and it gets it to perfec, ringghhtt above drinking temp, and its perfect when I get to work.

Just want to give you props. Milwaukee makes some legit good stuff that (a lot of) is made in the US. I took a lean manufacturing workshop with a couple of guys from the Greenwood facility (Sawzall blades) and got to hear about the fab and heat treat process.
