Neither of those links involve "adults getting eaten alive by black bears."
One of them is about a kid getting non-life-threating injuries from a black bear and the other is about an incident where some hikers were frightened by a bear but no one got hurt.
I don't what you're on about but black bears are not eating people in our state parks. They're like the most skittish animal ever. You can make a loud noise and they'll run away. The number of people who have died from black bear attacks is tiny.
If you don't like safe injection sites you're welcome to not use them. But they're one of the most effective policies for reducing overdose deaths, as well as helping stop the spread of diseases like HIV.
1.) How do you intend to get around? Will you have a car or do you plan on using public transit?
2.) When you say you're looking for a social life, what type of socialization? Do you mean you want to live near other students? Or are there specific kinds of social locations you care about? Bars? Parks? Hobby groups?
3.) What does your budget look like? Some towns in the area are more expensive than others.
Why would politicians with shorter terms be less self serving? If anything, knowing they're going to go right back to their private sector company in a couple years give them even more motivation to represent that company's interests.

Reply to LPT: If you want someone’s attention and they seem to be ignoring you, getting reasonably close to them and whispering is much more effective for getting them to pay attention to you than yelling. It gently grabs their attention and their curiosity. by [deleted]
