It's because we are right in the constant freeze thaw zone. Roads and sidewalks don't hold up to that. Eventually that will go away from global warming.

Same. Don't know why people love that place. Probably just because they have that big battleship sandwich. It's the same sandwich that we got in a high school cafeteria in 1992 for lunch.

You can fight it. Parking tickets can be won.
I'd say that you work from home and haven't used your car in a week or whatever so you never noticed the newly added signs. Don't ask to have the ticket wiped out. Admit that it was your fault for not checking, but 150 will really hurt your tight budget. Ask if the fine can possibly be reduced. I find that admitting fault and asking only for a reduction a lot of times they just wipe it all because the judge thinks you are taking responsibility. If you go on a rant blah blah blah then the judge is mostly fuck this loud mouth and makes you pay the full amount.
Edit: saw you ask about in person or online. I'd say in person is the better chance to win. Judge sees you took the time to come and ask for the reduction. You're more invested than the 5 minutes to contest online.
Stay calm and a nice tone. Raising your voice or turning your questions or requests into a rant will almost always get you nothing in the way of leniency.

The trick to resale places is to just pop in and see what they have a lot. Once a week or twice a month and have patience. You'll stop and find nothing then one time you'll find what you need. Since you have a door now, it's just a waiting game if you want used because you don't really have an immediate need.
I know that probably doesn't help a ton, but that's my strategy. I have a list on my phone of things I'm looking for. I pop in CJ and do a 10 minute sweep of the store occasionally. Eventually you'll catch it there.

You can check for extraneous water usage that you're not aware of easily. Just make sure all your water shut off, and then go look at your water meter. If it's counting usage numbers up then you have a drip or a leak somewhere. A small drip can add up fast.

Costco and Sam's club have really nice hoodies and jackets for pretty good prices. If you don't have a membership maybe you know someone that does. Burlington is also responsible, but I haven't been there in a long time.

Why not ask them while you're there? If it's their note that you need ID then they probably know why. Did you report your ID stolen maybe years ago? Maybe because you moved, you need to show once.
