Depends where in the state, in hoboken its not going to go as far as somewhere out in farm country.

Its probably not financially smart to get your own apartment, and give up free rent from the parents, but you probably should anyway.

all christmas bars will be packed, not just tinsel, its the holidays and everyone wants to go there.

craftsman row is decorated very nicely, i was there last weekend and saw many people turned away because it was overcapacity mid day. They don't do a line like tinsel.

We couldn't get into the yule lodge @ butcher bar, over capacity. So no idea how that is.

According to, (scroll to the end ) https://www.septakey.org/info/fare-products there should be a "Quick Trip — Regional Rail — All Other Lines, Paper ticket purchased from a Center City Station Fare Kiosk " that you can buy yourself. I dont know when it expires.

But thats only for zone 1-> outlying stations.

Or just buy at the station you are departing from? Buying elsewhere is just complicating things.

Inbound pay the conductor cash.

But really the answer is a reloadable septakey card.

Fado or Brauhaus Schmitz(in the back, head past the main bar and hang a right).

Fado has a bunch of flat screen tvs around you can watch from the bar, Brauhaus in the back bar has a big projector you can watch from the tables. Both will have a bunch of people watching. Brauhaus has an extensive german beer list.

Perusing the event posters on woodys website i wouldnt be confident the dance club is open on Wednesday, just mentions globar and the downstairs bar.

Id call them to find out if the room you care about is even open.

you can buy a paper quick-trip ticket from the septa key machines for $2.50 valid for one ride on the subway (not on buses or trolleys). its listed here: https://www.septakey.org/info/fare-products

broad street line stops around midnight, but the night owl buses keep going. They aren't very frequent though. $2.50 cash fare on the bus, no change given.

Not sure what line you were asking about for regional rail, check the posted schedules, they don't run very late.
