Basically, if you’re going to go the retail route, you won’t make shit until uou make management.

But once you do, you will be pretty well-off. My company just upped its matching to 10% for 401K. So I can’t imagine others won’t be higher or lower than that.

And then a few flannels for than can go under your vest and can also be warn when it’s cold but not enough to need a jacket.

And the key is to layer. It will quite literally go from 30 degrees at night to 60 or 70 degrees in the spring and fall.

So like, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, and then a jacket.
