Reply to What albums to listen to by Theoatandthealmond
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is always recommend for anyone open to hearing 2010s rock. Their pre-2013 material is all very much punk. Then came Eyes Like the Sky, a spoken word western album. Since then, they’ve done acoustic psychedelia (Paper Mache Dream Balloon,) Electric Psychedelia (most of their albums. I recommend starting with Nonagon Infinity,) Metal (Infest the Rats’ Nest,) Synth Pop (Butterfly 3000) and Experimental (Made in Timeland.) They also have a good amount of songs upwards of ten minutes, such as The Dripping Tap and both tracks from Laminated Denim.

The Beatles: Revolver - The masterful magnum opus of one of the most influential rock bands in history.
The Who: Who's Next - My favorite album of all time. Every track could have been a single.
Steely Dan - Aja: Steely Dan is my favorite American rock artist by far, and this is, for good reason, their defining album.
Pearl Jam - Ten: My favorite American album. Constantly great grunge rock.

I don’t know if it’s my favorite, but as of tracks from the past 15 years, “Hacker” from Death Grips’s “The Money Store” comes to mind. Cool as hell and catchy as fuck.

Reply to Im 15 and i only listen to 90's music, isnt that weird? by vaztrx
The “old music good/new music bad” mentality is definitely a phase. Having said that, if you name some 90s artists you like, maybe I can recommend some similar modern artists.
