In terms of immersion 2 beats the rest by a mile.

But I like the characters in 3 and the villain of 4, the gameplay of primal, and the setting of 5 and new dawn. There’s stuff to like in each, even 6 as derivative as it is, but overall I think 2 is still my fave.

No man’s sky didn’t launch in early access though. That was the whole controversy, when it came out on day one it was somewhat bland and lacked a lot of promised/advertised features.
