Proceeds to hate on group of people...

This is one of the major things that drove me away from the left, despite considering myself a democrat for over a decade. The younger generation on the left doesn't grasp what bigotry is or why it's bad. They proclaim they're "anti racist" over and over, but it's so clear they're just repeating what they think they're supposed to say while having zero grasp of the concepts. The older people still on the left are in the same boat. Those who do grasp it have all distanced themselves from democrats and progressives by now.

Yeah, I've seen the stories, they're out there.

This just looks like an edgy kid in the footage. Skinny pants, those kind of sneakers with khakis, something about his build says 22 at the oldest IMO. While I picture the official groups looking a little more "chud"-like. Also, I imagine the official groups would be more careful about blatant vandalism vs the protests in broad daylight that piss everyone off because people can't easily stop them legally.

Not saying it definitely is a teenage edgelord, but if I had to put money on it, that's where my bet would be.

Probably because they didn't know about it.

The story wasn't given that much attention by MSM. It took a week or so of enough people talking about it online to bring it to people's attention.

And what do you mean there's nothing rational about people being concerned for their health and safety? It's one thing to explain to people why you don't think they should worry, it's another to try and shoot them down for asking questions.
