Same-day viewing numbers; if you watch it the next day, it doesn't count. This is why so many of the shows viewing figures go up, a lot of people wait to hear if the first episode is any good then can't wait to see how the season ends.

The top 4 being all Chinese when none of them was on the list in the 80's is a huge shift.

David Attenborough's The Living Planet in 1984 showed humpbacks bubble-net feeding on capelin (small fish). It shows great maws rise from the ocean that nothing like a whale with its mouth shut.

Thanks for the link, I was surprised there was no data for NZ but it is in the table between the US and S Korea.
