You're conflating "making sense" with "able to be proven." It doesn't have to "make sense" to you when nothing else can be proven in any way, shape, or form... But that doesn't mean you have to act based solely on what can be proven.

I wouldn’t call my criticism “a barrier to entry,” and I’m not gonna praise an essay that’s clearly not well thought out and under-researched lol. I’m sure more than .1% of this subreddit has read Wittgenstein’s work or something similar…

It's definitely true when talking about a complete luxury we definitely don't need to live, or will be useful in our lifetime. Healthcare, infrastructure, and education? Not so much.
