To be completely honest, gaming headphones aren’t gonna sound miles better with a dac, i would only get one if you’re using dedicated listening headphones and separate mic, and with steelseries, razor, hyper x, Logitech, etc sound quality in their headsets isn’t a priority, as much as ease of use and sound mixing are

I think the Arabs and Indians first used them, other societies used their own systems, but Asia, the Middle East, and Europe eventually switched for trade purposes, and we all kinda just agreed that their system made the most sense
