You and I know as much about the extended universe as a microbe living on a grain of sand on the sea floor knows about the ocean. It may have a vague sense of the ocean’s existence but isn’t capable of understanding the vastness. But it happily goes about it’s business. Just go with it man. You’ll be ok.
I should note that this photo is not my ballot. I cast mine a while back. I just found it on google images. Surprisingly I couldn’t ANY complete images of this year’s ballot online.
For those worried about the PA Supreme Court’s ruling on undated ballots, it may be of some relief to you that this year’s ballot envelope is VERY unambiguous. While I personally find the ruling utterly preposterous I’d also say that the ballot itself is competently designed to compensate for it.
