I use the Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro for over 8 years now. They are semi-open headphones, but with the same building quality as the DT-770. They are being used multiple hours each day and the only thing I had to replace were the Earpads so far. At some point in the past I have purchased a Bluetooth receiver, that I just taped to one side of the headset to make a wireless headset out of it.
I casually opened the headset a while ago, just to see it from the inside and I think I get at least another 8 years out of them. Huge Advantage over the DT770 is the removable cable. It’s just a standard double audio-jack.
