Seriously. My husband won't consider Starlink (or a Tesla, even though we do have Tesla solar and batteries) since Elon's been putting his personality out there. I think he's using his Occupy Mars t-shirts for paint tags!

I've checked T-Mobile's coverage map for years. What area do you live in? The coverage map shows T-Mobile covers Vermont and most of Vermont says hell no! We had a guest get lost and in tears because the directions to our house were in texts to her T-Mobile phone which of course didn't work anywhere.

Health inspectors anywhere. And I was naive enough to be shocked when I found that at least a few decades ago milk inspectors don't inspect milk!

And am wondering, after so so many reports with the exact same story, what's up with the VT inspectors. Does Weights and Measures analyze the gasoline? Fill their own tanks?!

No! Just because a cat has kittens in the oven... There's a book "Real Vermonters Don't Milk Goats" that lays it all out. I don't as married into a really real (related to most of the state, names on historical markers) VT family, who just couldn't see the jokes in that book!

Where are you located, or how far to travel? I'm in southern Vermont and thinking about classes at Fire Dog Breads in Keene.

Our oil guy was delivering very early this morning. He was delivering to houses on dirt roads before they warm up and become pretty much impassable. Mud season is great unless you need to leave the house!

Pretty sure we won't have any peaches or plums or fruit this year. Have read that maple sap is starting to run. It's raining and 38 here in the south, at 7am! In January!

Yes on a hot day a tired staff could leave the doors and windows open I get that. I should have added that the dirt crusted ~1/4" thick on the oily shelves and fans meant it was a long-standing issue. My second thought was are there no restaurant inspectors or health department in Brattleboro?! Dutton's Farm Stand in Newfane is another place I avoid for the same reason.

I only ate there once, on a gallery walk evening, because I had heard these great reviews. The oil was truly old and then I looked into the kitchen. A door was open and there were flies all over. Not going back. Maybe the Falafel is better than the fish and chips we had but still wouldn't be enough to return.

The Windham County historical society did a bus tour of the old rail line. Let's do Jamaica to Newfane to Brattleboro, then on to Boston or New York - or New Haven for Pepe's and IKEA.

And, you can get to the MB without going into strip mall Keene! MB, Cheshire Horse, Fire Dog breads, and Toadstool bookstore are my reasons for making the nasty drive to Keene. Plus the MB has plastic bags that we can use for giant dogs' poop.

Happens again and again at the end of our road in Newfane. We're giant dog owners, and def know the difference. Plus we've never been able to convince the newfs to wipe with paper towels!

We called a local woodstove company that advertised glass replacement when the old glass in our stove cracked. Took them 2 days to tell us to find an autoglass store, and make sure they gave us the right kind of glass. So went online and a Midwest place had wonderful service and support. The Brattleboro Agway has been rude, pet store too. Prices over the state lines are lower. Can you tell I'm frustrated?

It's not less threatening. It's a neurological and vascular disease that can continue to damage someone, unnoticeable until they have a stroke, or dementia, or very bad cases of other infections.
