I recently saw one at Costco. What are people thinking spending $120 on a heated coffee mug? I just use a knock off yeti tumbler that costs like $20, and it keeps my coffee hot for hours. How long do you need your coffee to stay hot?

Main downside is that I’m like 99% sure they’ll sell this data to insurance companies. That’s the problem with any internet connected health device.

Also, if my wife was driving and she screamed and the line went dead, I wouldn’t need crash detection to piece together what happened.

I get that, but it’s not a special medical phone and watch. It’s an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Which I’m currently holding/wearing. The app is the special sauce, and that’s what’s being withheld.

I wonder why an app requires a prescription. I can’t see a downside to letting anyone have this. Veterans aren’t the only ones with nightmares.

I wear my watch at night. Toss it on the charger in the morning while I do my morning routine, and it’s topped up by then.

I act completely different when I speak to a machine. I tend to fumble my words and forget what I'm trying to say. I'm sure this would be pretty useless for me.

I think Zuck might have done more harm than good. He hyped it up so much that everyone’s expectations were higher than possible, and now that it’s fallen short they’re all pulling out.
