Do you want violent gang members to live next door to you? What about sex offenders and murderers?

Is there a list of for profit prisons in the US? Those prisons need to be highlighted.

It would be really interesting to see the demographics in state prisons that include conviction crime types. We know gang crimes and convictions are much higher in some states.

Exactly. Many people don't realize there is a difference and that difference is huge.

Which prisons are for profit? It would help give context as this data is for Federal Prisons, not state prisons. Is there a grid for the for profit prisons?

Not all prices prisons. This data is about Federal Prisons, not state prisons. State prisons are not private or for profit.

Did you miss the part that this is a chart of Federal Prisons and federal crimes, not state prisons with other crime types? It's literally in the chart.
Do you know the difference between federal crimes and state crimes? Focusing on federal crimes and prisons without looking at state prisons and convictions is only giving a small portion of the big picture.
