I read somewhere there were concerns on the telco side about users switching too quickly from one cell to another, or reaching too many towers at the same time, but this was a long time ago.

I don't get the feeling the hand brake on my Civic is good for much more than parking. It takes quite a bit of force to achieve the same braking in motion you'd get with a light touch of the foot on the pedal.

Maybe I'm not using the mobile app right, but the cited reason was lack of references, and I didn't see one added...
I've never really contributed much to Wikipedia but I've seen quite a few edit wars where an anti-skub would go to the skub page and add unsourced stuff to it to make it look bad, then a pro-skub person would come after and undo everything.

Just tried this with an old scanned photo, the results are like a starting point for a /r/nosleep story.
