They're really nothing special. You could find them at any grocery store.

Reply to comment by willzyx01 in Boston could be first municipality to require stores, restaurants, and hotels to donate leftover food by uxd
It will work if they partner with charitable organizations. When I lived in Toronto, my co-worker organized weekly pickup through Second Harvest where we would go pick up food from participating stores and then drop off at a food pantry/church.
It worked well. The stores had stuff packed up for us and it would go directly to the people who need it that day.

Fellow Canadian chiming in here, maybe I'm being nostalgic but Harvey's poutine holds a special place in my heart.

Reply to Boston, rules of the road by PedXing23
Today I had a green light and was entering the intersection when this woman who wasn't paying attention starts walking across the road. So I stop in the middle of the intersection and honk at her mostly just to tell her she's an idiot for not looking when crossing the street on a red and she turns to me looking all pissed off and then starts pointing down at the crosswalk. Yes, I know cars must yield the right of way to pedestrians but that doesn't mean pedestrians have carte blanche to just walk into the road without paying attention.
Drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists are all fucking idiots in this city.

$75 is a lot per month but the speed is more than enough for someone who just uses it for streaming/working from home.
T Mobile will be $50 for comparable speed, and likely Comcast on a promo deal which you can just call and cancel at the end and they'll extend the promo another year.

And she did it all on one foot. Baffles me that with all the war movies we have, they have never made one (as far as I know) about her. An amazing life.

The golf course is over 100 years old, so I wouldn't say the land was taken from the park. Pretty well established at this point. It is a very good muni right in the heart of the city and provides accessible recreation at an affordable price compared to other courses. It has value to the community and is packed all summer so it also provides some revenue.

You turned your head for a second and then immediately your fiance starts feeling weird and stumbling? I'm sorry this happened but the timeline just sounds so oddly worded.

Paid $4000 at TLC 4 years ago. Insurance covered $1000. I believe they had a promotion going at the time but I feel like most places have "promotions" and it's just the normal price. Very happy with the results though. Worth every penny.

There doesn't seem to be any middle ground anymore. People here either have the brightest headlights possible or don't turn their headlights on at all. The latter baffles me more because pretty much every car nowadays should have automatic headlights, even my 20 year old car has them.
