While they are expensive you can find these around 800 euros. Still quite good for a dumpster find.

I've got one for you. Brought my daughter to daycare. Noticed the outside door of their shed attic blown out by wind and inside I saw a glimpse of Eames fiberglass chairs.
I made a remark that those are quite expensive chairs to be standing in the attic. They took them down and appeared to be 1955 originals in nearly pristine condition. They've found these chairs years ago when someone clearing a house put them out for trash. They had 10 of them. I got a bottle of Champagne to thank me after they sold them to a collector.

I'm not the expert but in my experience a good waist belt takes a lot more strain off your lower back than shoulder and chest straps.
Thanks for the question and list. I was looking into the same type of bag.

Very true. And as I said, they are great value for money.

Reply to Where (in Europe) can I find a watertight tarpaulin for my outdoor furniture that actually LASTS. by Henryfred86
The bushcraft guys are very positive about the tarps made by DD Hammocks. I used to work in a bar and I used the same truck liner tarp for years. It was made to fit and very heavy but extremely durable.

I would say that they are good value for money but those soles tend to be their weak spot. If you use them for regular office use they'll last bit outdoor they lose chips. They are nearly unreplaceable because there's no welt, the leather is flanged and sewn onto the sole directly so if the sole wears out the game's over. I love them but it don't feel they suit the BIFL label. And after all, proper care is an important part of BIFL.

That woman took care of my children as they were her own. I wouldn't and couldn't.
